Henry Wayne Hartless, 70, of Buena Vista, died Friday, March 30, 2007 at his home.

He was born November 13, 1936 in Buena Vista, the son of the late Lewis Henry Hartless and Ruby Staton Hartless.

He was a member of the St. Johns United Methodist Church.

Mr. Hartless was retired from Reeves Brothers after 37 years.

Mr. Hartless is survived by his wife, Betty Lewis Hartless; a daughter, Mary Lou Crist of Buena Vista; a son, John B. Crist and wife, Charlotte of Roanoke; one sister, Mary Anna Breeden of Natural Bridge Station; a special nephew, David Breeden of Buena Vista.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Deborah Koontz and Bill Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice.

The family will receive friends or calls at their home at any time. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
