Bible Church At Rockbridge Member Dies At AGe 62

Carol Ann Sorrells, 62, of Lexington, died Friday, March 30, 2007 in the Havenwood Nursing Home in Lexington.

She was born in Rockbridge County on March 3, 1945, a daughter of Henry C. Sorrells and the late Helen Alline Truslow Sorrells.

Miss Sorrells was a member of the Bible Church at Rockbridge.

In addition to her father of Lexington, Carol is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Charles H. and Margaret Sorrells of Lexington; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Nancy G. and William Wade and Wanda L. and John Troxell, all of Lexington; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2007 in the Alone Mill Cemetery by the Rev. George Warden, Jr.

There will be no public viewing.

Those desiring may visit the family at the Havenwood Nursing Home.

It is suggested that those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers Street, Lexington, Virginia 24450. Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory in Lexington.
