Obituary for Frances Hill Frances (Mull) Hill
County Native Dies At Age 67

Frances (Mull) Hill, 67, of Natural Bridge Station, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2007 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Frances, better known as Teenie or Nanny, was born October 31, 1939 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late John William Mull and Lillie Swanger Mull.

She was also preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters.

Frances is survived by her husband of 51 years, Clyde M. Hill; a daughter, Theresa H. Harris; granddaughter, Kristin L. Harris, all of Natural Bridge Station; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary W. and Donna Hill; two stepgrandchildren: Joseph Arthur and Kim Hartless; step great grandchild Skylar Brook Hartless, all of Buena Vista; a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Burley Shanks of Natural Bridge Station; a brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Gladys Mull of Glasgow; and many speciala nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007 in the Harrison Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Nathan Phillips and Dr. Wyatt Mayes. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening in the Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
