Darrell Lewis Lineberry, 55, of Buena Vista, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

He was born July 2, 1951 in Lexington, a son of Elva Lineberry and the late Lewis G. Lineberry.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Garland Lineberry and a nephew, Matthew Lineberry.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Justin S. Lineberry of Natural Bridge and his fiane, Amanda Irvine; two brothers: Ronald Lineberry and wife, Phyllis of Lexington; and David Lineberry and wife, Linda of Newport News; two sisters: Sandra Knick and husband, Dave of Buena Vista and Sharon Bleech and husband, Ross of Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews; family friend, Buddy Tolley; his best and closest friend, Tony Tyree and wife, Betty; and a special pet, Sienna.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W. A. Mills officiating. Burial will be private.
