Bobby Z. Clark, 72, of Buena Vista, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Augusta Medical Center.

He was born December 10, 1934 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Henry Preston Clark and Rosa Floyd Clark.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Shirley Hostetter Clark; three brothers, Bill Clark, Willard Clark, and Early Golden Clark; seven sisters, Dasie Houff, Mazie Southers, Nedith Berry, Elsie Shifflett, Katherine Humphries, Virginia Clark, and Cammie Clark.

He is survived by a son, Bobby "Butchie" Clark, Buena Vista; a daughter, Brenda Lewis and husband, Chuckie, Buena Vista; a sister, Geraldine Ailer, Staunton; a brother, Donnie Clark, Buena Vista; granddaughters, Whitney Lewis and Chastity Clark, Buena Vista; and a very special friend, Nadine Higgins.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2007 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. George Warden officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
