Karen Ann Fitzgerald, 52, passed away June 20 after a courageous cancer battle.

Her parents Margaret and Kenneth Fitzgerald and brother Kenneth Fitzgerald, Jr. predeceased her.

Karen is survived by one brother, Russ Fitzgerald; his companion Elizabeth Nichols; nephew Tre' Fitzgerald; niece; Angelique Fitzgerald; great nephew; Keldon Fitzgerald; cousins; close friends: Karen, Cheryl, Pat, Carolyn, her friends at Pro-Sure Insurance Company; and her Kitty, L. B.

Special thanks to those who helped Karen at Blue Ridge Legal Services, Hospice and Medical Staff at AMC.

Memorial Services to celebrate her life will be held at Central Methodist Church in Staunton on Friday, June 29 at 11:00 AM, with visitation at 10:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to meet at her mother's home on Preston Avenue, Staunton after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blue Ridge Legal Services or Hospice of The Shenandoah.
