Richard "Ricky" Denford Bryant, 52, of Buena Vista, died Monday, July 16, 2007 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

He was born May 22, 1955 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late George N. Bryant and Nettie Fitzgerald Bryant.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Nikki and George Bryant; and a sister, Judy Bryant.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Alice "Snookie" Bryant; two sons: Jody Bryant and wife, Tara and Andy Bryant and wife, Tammy of Natural Bridge; six grandchildren; four sisters: Lois Moran and husband, James; Rosa Blackwell and husband, Tinker; Lynee Tyree and husband, Dewey; and Wanda Bryant; a daughter, Kelly Bryant of Buena Vista; one brother, Ronnie Bryant and wife, Terry.

He will be missed by all.

Funeral services will beheld at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sebby L. Volpe officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
