Bernice Nuckols Coffey, 68, of Buena Vista, died on Monday, August 20, 2007 at the Riverpointe Rehab Center in Virginia Beach.

She was born April 7, 1939 in Buena Vista, a daughter of the late Jarrett Lee Nuckols and Sudie Gilbert Nuckols.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by a son, Ricky Coffey and wife, Julie, of Chesapeake; a sister, Gladys Pugh, Lexington; a brother, Joe Nuckols, Buena Vista.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
