Elizabeth Mae Johnson Noel, 86, of Natural Bridge Station, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007.

She was born June 23, 1921 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late William Andrew Johnson and Russell Milliner Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Noel and three sons, Preston, Sidney, and Ronnie; brothers and sisters, Willie Lee Johnson, Sally J. Wilcher, Gertrude J. Wilcher, Glennie J. Watkins, and Walter "Trixie" Johnson.

She is survived by three daughters, Brenda N. Wright and husband, Harvey, Edna Chrystabell Johnson, and Serena Geraldine Austin, all of Natural Bridge Station; thirteen grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Faith Baptist Church, with Rev. Terry Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery, Natural Bridge. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
