Benjamin Franklin Fitzgerald, 60, of Lexington, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at his residence.

Mr. Fitzberald was born in Rockbridge County on August 8, 1947, a son of the late James Staton Fitzgerald and Ruth Gladys (Dudley) Fitzgerald.

He was self-emloyed.

Survivors include six brothers; George, Bob, Jimmy and Jessie Fitzgerald, all of Lexington, Eddie Fitzgerald of Collierstown and James Fitzgerald of Buena Vista; a sister, Mary Ann Clemmer of Blue Ridge.

A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Paul Rogers.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
