He was born May 21, 1915 in Rockbridge County, the son of the late Charles B. Greene and Imel S. Greene.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Adalene McGuffin Greene.

He is survived by one son, F. Taylor Greene, II, of Rustburg.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2007 in the Timber Ridge A.R.P. Church Cemetery with Rev. Carl Moore officiating.
