Obituary for Lorine Wilson "Renie" Tyree Lorine Wilson "Renie" Tyree
Planters Bank Retiree; Ebenezer United Methodist Church Member

Lorine Wilson "Renie" Tyree, 75, of Staunton, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007.

She was born April 8, 1932 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Homer Leonidas Tyree and Virgie Ellen (Sweet) Tyree.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, H. Wallace Tyree and a sister, Donna Tyree Mohler.

She was retired from Planters Bank and a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church where she played the piano for many years.

Miss Tyree is survived by five sisters, Anna Connell, Richmond, Virginia Troxell, Bettie Cash, both of Staunton, Dolly Sensabaugh, Middlebrook, and Mildred Snider, Rockridge Baths; a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, with Rev. William Bearden officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
