Obituary for Lee Wilton Slagle Lee Wilton Slagle
Served With The U. S. Army During The Korean Conflict

Lee Wilton Slagle, 77, of Buena Vista, died Monday, November 12, 2007.

He was born November 17, 1929 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Earl and Mary Vest Slagle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Arnold and Claude Slagle.

Mr. Slagle was in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a former member of the VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Mason Slagle; one daughter, Angela Darlene Huffman, Salem; three stepsons: Curtis Jeffrey Mason, Jamie Lee Wheeler and wife, Sherry, and Kevin Ryan Wheeler, all of Buena Vista; two grandchildren; a brother, Robert Slagle and wife, Janie; a sister, Arlene Hayslett and husband, Karlyos; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2007 in the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Bain and Rev. Jay Thorne officiating.

Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery with military rites. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
