Obituary for Edna Flint Davis Edna Flint Davis
She Was The Eldest Member Of Natural Bridge Baptist Church

Edna Flint Davis, 91, of Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at her home.

She was born March 17, 1916 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Charles Henry and Ruth Huffman Flint.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cosby W. Davis, and a brother, Charles William Flint.

She was the eldest member and the oldest living member of the Natural Bridge Baptist Church. She worked for James Lees for over 20 years. Mrs. Davis is survived by a brother, J. Marshall Flint and wife, LeVonne, Glasgow; a niece, Patricia F. Coffey, Southern Pines, NC; seven nephews, Jimmy Flint, Chuck Flint, and Steven Flint, Glasgow, Roger Flint, Baton Rouge, LA, Don Flint, Hampton, Brian Claytor, Glasgow, Scott Coffey, Roanoke; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2007 at Harrison Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
