Early McArthur Southers, Jr. (Mack), 43, of Buena Vista, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 22, 1965 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Early M. Southers, Sr. and Bertha Martin Southers.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Holmes Southers; a sister, Barbara Clark, Lexington; two half sisters, Frances and Ann; a stepson, Randy Blankenship; two stepdaughters, Sherry Johnson and Iris Shires; and 12 step-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2008 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Service toward the funeral expenses.
