Melvin Douglas "Buck" Mason, 63, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

He was born March 11, 1945 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Melvin J. and Isabelle Fitzgerald Mason.

He is survived by three daughters: Angie Graves of Buena Vista, Mechelle Jones of Lexington and Margie Shafer of Buena Vista; one son, Frank Mason of Lexington; two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2008 in the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Bishop Wilhelm officating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
