Ronald Eugene Trent, 58, of Glasgow, died Friday, June 13, 2008 in the Heritage Hall Nursing Home.

He was born March 15, 1950 in Lexington, a son of Eugene Franklin Trent and Gloria Ferguson Trent of Glasgow.

Ronnie was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam, and was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Barbara Cash Trent; two daughters: Sara Ashley Trent and Bailey Marie Trent, both of Glasgow; a granddaughter, Kayla Nicole Trent; and a half-sister, Diana Reese of Illinois.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 in the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. William Thomas officiating. Burial will be private. Memorial gifts may be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice, P. O. Box 948, Lexington, VA 24450.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
