Dolly Berry Brownlee, 91, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, June 15, 2008.

She was born August 27, 1916 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Abraham H. and Ressie Fitzgerald Berry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Brownlee and four brothers and sisters.

Surviving are two daughters: Gloria J. Hamilton, Fairfield, and Rosemary Lessley, Appomattox; a sister, Clara Meadows, Newport News; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside servces will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008 in the Green Hill Cemetery with pastor Christian Becker officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA, 10 Animal Place, Lexington, Va. 24450.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
