Obituary for Mary Conner Bouchard Mary Conner Bouchard
Air Force Nurse Also Served At SJH For 15 Years

Mary Conner Bouchard, 81, of Lexington, died Sunday, July 13, 2008 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

She was born September 15, 1926 in Lexington, a daughter of the late Clarence and Mattie Peery Conner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Grayson and Edward Conner; and a sister, Mae Potter.

Mrs. Bouchard was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

She served in the U.S. Air Force as a nurse, holding the rank of Lieutenant.

She was a retired nurse from the Stonewall Jackson Hospital, where she worked for fifteen years.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph G. Bouchard; two daughters: Debbie Isemann and husband, Will, of Coopersburg, PA and Judy Mohler and husband, Hans, of Lexington; three sons: Charlie Bouchard and wife, Marie, of Natural Bridge; Steve Bouchard and wife, April, of Colorado Springs, CO; and George Bouchard and wife, Cris, of Calhoun, Ga; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Louie Benoit and Rev. Nathan Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
