Harold Jeffrey Lynn, age 54, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at his residence in Buena Vista.

He was born February 26, 1954, the only child of the late Jack C. and Josephine (Heslep) Lynn.

Jeff was a graduate of Parry McCluer High School and James Madison University.

Prior to his illness, he was a manager at the Days Inn in Lexington and was employed at Aunt Sarah's Pancake House.

He was a member of the Buena Vista Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by two aunts: Marjorie H. Dyer of Buena Vista, Virginia, and Betty H. Watts of Glasgow, Virginia; numerous cousins, caregivers and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. David Bain officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 4, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Buena Vista Presbyterian Church.
