Larry Grant Loope, 67, formerly of Buchanan, residing in Natural Bridge, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 21, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Doradean Loope, and brother-in-law, Mike Senick.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara C. Loope; daughter, Dana L. Loope of Natural Bridge Station; sisters and brother-in-law, Lois Senick of North Carolina, Margaret and Charles Booze of Pennsylvania; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Carol Loope, Terry and Barbara Loope all of Buchanan; grandnephew, Chris Perez; special great-nephew, Peyton Matz; several nieces and nephews; and the North Star Restaurant Gang.

Funeral Services was held at 11 am, Monday, August 25, 2008 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecie Haxton officiating. Interment will follow in Wheatland Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family received friends on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. (254-3000)
