Obituary for Harry H. Brown Harry H. Brown
Was Pastor At Faith Mission Church Of God For 27 Years

Harry H. Brown, 79, of Fairfield, died September 5, 2008 at 6:50 a.m. at his residence.

He was born in Fairfield, Virginia, the son of Glenwood S. Brown and Annabell Dickerson Brown.

He was preceded in death by both parents and a sister, Katherine Elizabeth Brown.

He was the Pastor of the Faith Mission Church of God in Christ, Fairfield, VA, for 27 years.

He was a self-employed well driller for many years.

Surviviing relatives include his wife, Addie Marie Brown, Fairfield, VA; one son, Harry Leon Brown, Hyattesville, MD; three daughters: Carolyn Marie Brown, Baltimore, MD; Jo Ann Merchant (husband, Robert M.), Gaithersburg, MD; and Phyllis Elizabeth Jones, Fairfield, Va; one brother, Glenwood S. Brown Jr. (wife, Mae); four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Faith Mission Church of God in Christ, Fairfield, Va with the Bishop Samuel L. Green Sr. officiating assisted by superintendent Ronald L. Watson. Burial will follow the St. Paul Cemetery, Steeles Tavern, Virginia.

There will be visitation at the Faith Mission Church of God in Christ on Monday, September 8, 2008 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Professionals services have been entrusted to the Lewis Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Waynesboro, Virginia.
