Pauline Wilmer Jones, 101, of Buena Vista, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008.

She was born October 11, 1907 in Buena Vista, a daughter of the late Lindsey Wilmer and Carrie Huffman Wilmer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Major Leonard Moore; her second husband, Charlie Lint Jones; and a sister, Lillian Coleman.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Allen of Floernce, KY; two granddaughters: Melinda Mills of Alexandria; Angela Zapp of Union, KY; a great grandson, Austin Zapp of Union, KY: one very special niece, Hazel Moore; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friend, Connie Campbell and her family; and her most moved companion, her cat, "Friendly."

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. W. A. Miles and Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2008 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
