Evelyn Sensabaugh, 95, of Lexington, Virginia, died on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 in the Golden Living Center.

She was born October 20, 1913 in Rockbridge Baths, a daughter of the late Charles Franklin Sensabaugh and Nettie Myrtle Gaylor Sensabaugh.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Ed, Paul, Richard and Leonard Sensabaugh; and three sisters: Alberta Serrett, Mable McCurdy, and Elsie McKeny.

Surviving are a daughter, Gloria J. Slough of Buena Vista; a sister, Eunice Virginia Higginbotham of Rustburg; one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2008 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy Smith and the Rev. W. A. Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
