Roger Daniel Williams, Sr., 67, of Goshen, died Friday, December 5, 2008 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

He was born January 6, 1941 in Marion, Virginia, a son of the late virgil Williams and Mattie Robinson Williams.

He was retired from Rockbridge Stone.

Surviving are his wife, Zeller Chittum Williams; a son, Roger D. Williams, Jr. of Lexington; a daughter, Naomi Marie Williams of Buena Vista; three sisters: Elizabeth Quintrell, Peggy Williford of Sarasota, Florida; and Nancy Talbott of Centerville, MD: two brothers: James Virgil Williams of Las Cruses, Mexico and Jerry W. Williams of Frederick, MD; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

There will be no viewing at the funeral home and services will be private.

Arrangements are being handled by the Bolling, Grose & Lotts funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
