Irene Crane DeCook, 92, died Friday, December 26, 2008 home of her daughter, Sue Campbell at 2804 Valley Ridge Road, Covington, VA.

Mrs. DeCook was born April 25, 1916, in Rochester, NY, a daughter of the late Alexander and Minnie Miller Crane.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orrie DeCook in 1991 and also by a great grandson, Christopher Campbell.

Surviving in addition to her daughter are her son, John DeCook, of Bloomfield, NY; four granddaughters:Kimberly McCoy, Vicki Graham, Tracy Armentrout and Emily DeCook, and nine great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be handled by Kennedy and Son Funeral Home in Canandaigua, New York.
