Shirley Nace McMillen, 72 of 303 Foxaway Lane, Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday morning, February 18, 2009 at her residence.

Mrs. Millen was born March 1, 1936 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Harry A. and Ileta Clark Nace.

She retired in 1986 after 30 years as a Telephone Operator with CFW Telephone Company.

Mrs. McMillen was preceded in death by her first husband, Andy Lee Wolfe in 1970, and also by a sister, Phyllis Ann Wolfe.

Surviving are her husband, Lee McMillen of Covington; a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Rickey Seldomridge of Covington; a son and daughter-in-law, Coyd Allan and Denise Wolfe of Plant City, FL; and a sister Carol of Bradenton, FL.

The funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating.

The interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family will receive their friends Friday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at the Arritt Funeral Home.
