Ethel Fix Barger, 91, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, March 1, 2009 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

She was born May 3, 1917 in Lexington, a daughter of the late Roy M. and Nannie Armstrong Fix.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Barger.

Surviving are three sons, Ray M. Barger of CA; Robert W. Barger, NC; R. Keith Barger, of Buena Vista; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Pastor Hunter Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 2057 Maple Ave., Buena Vista, VA.
