She Was A Member Of The Buena Vista Pentecostal Outreach Church

Peggy Ann McDaniel, 70, of Buena Vista, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009.

She was born on August 18, 1938. Daughter of the late Andres Lawhorne and Margaret Stinnett.

She worked at Shenandoah Valley Nursing Home for ten years as a CNA. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Harry Thomas McDaniel; three sisters, Mary Jane Blevins, Patricia Floyd, and Dorothy Snow; a son, Duane McDaniel; a grandson, O.J. Smith; and a great granddaughter, Shaelynn Paige Taylor.

Surviving Mrs. McDaniel are daughters, Debra K. Stanley and husband, Jimmy, and Sue Montgomery and friend, Lewis Moore; son, Richard McDaniel and wife, Tina; daughters, Sharon Thorne, Camilla Ramirez and husband, Fredis Ramirez; son, Brett McDaniel and wife, Tammy; and son, Christopher McDaniel and wife, Laura; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Pentecostal Outreach Church, Buena Vista, with the Rev. Larry Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home, Buena Vista.
