Obituary for Edna Tomlinson Taylor Edna Tomlinson Taylor
Lexington Resident Dies At Age 86

Edna Tomlinson Taylor, 86, of Lexington, Virginia, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Lilly Tomlinson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Taylor Chuises; sisters: Cecil Humphries and Louise McCullough; and brothers: Charles and Willaim Tomlinson.

Edna is survived by her husband, Charles L. Taylprl her children: Charles Lee Taylor II and wife, Thelma of Buena Vista; and Cynthia Taylor Wade and husband, Franklin of Rockbridge County; and her son-in-law, Richard D. Chuises of Roanoke.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer Smith and husband, Doug; Stephanie Wade and husband, Tom Pennington; Tami Dozier, Richard Chuises II, Jason Wade, Jacob Wade, Tiffany Sutton and husband, Jason; Derek Taylor and wife, Pauline; Tonya, Dana and Stacey Zimmerman; six geat grandchildren: Daniel, Jason and Joshua Smith; Taylor Dozier and Jacob and Kayla Zimmerman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Bain and the Rev. W. A. Mills presiding. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and family at their home on Rivermont Heights at any time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice, P. O. Box 948, Lexington, VA 24450.

Arrangements are being handled by the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home, Buena Vista, Virginia.
