Surviving family members are her husband of over 60 years, Gene Clemmer; her son and daughter-in-law, Chip and Nancy Clemmer of Rural Retreat; and her daughter and son-in-law, Kevin and Carol Holland of Rockbridge Baths.

Following her wishes for a brief obituary, cremation and a private family service, burial will be at a later date.

The family wishes that she be remembered as the independent, strong, honest and decent person she was in her 80 years of life.
