Obituary for Cornelia Taylor "Connie" Eggleston Cornelia Taylor "Connie" Eggleston
Was Former Librarian At Callaghan Elementary School

Cornelia Taylor (Connie) Eggleston, 79, formerly of Callaghan , died, Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the Bath County Hospital.

She was born April 9, 1930 at Alderson, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Elbert Emory and Frances Estell O'Dell Taylor.

Mrs. Eggleston was a former Librarian at the Callaghan Elementary School.

She was a member of Fletcher Chapel United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Eggleston was preceded in death by her husband Russell B. Eggleston; a son, Timothy Lee Eggleston in 1998; two sisters, Iris Honaker and Mary Carter; and two brothers, Elbert Taylor, Jr. and William Taylor.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Anita Eggleston of Covington; three grandsons, Adam and Nicole Eggleston of South Williamson, KY; Aaron Eggleston and Jonah Eggleston, both of Covington; one sister, Frances Neely of Alderson, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2009 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Wright Officiating.

The interment will be made in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive their friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Sunday at the funeral home and at other times at Dan and Anita Eggleston home at 4500 Midland Trail Road, Covington, VA. The Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia, is in charge of arrangements.
