Dorothy Reynolds (Dot) Spivey, 78, formerly of Brentwood, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Brian Center in Low Moor.
She was born March 6, 1931, the daughter of Boyd D. and Lula Tucker Reynolds.
Mrs. Spivey retired as a clerk from the City of Covington Treasurer's Office.
She was a long time member of First Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Spivey was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Spivey in 1992.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, David Barry and Tina of Rustburg and Jim and Debbie Spivey of Covington; five grandchildren and one brother, Gene and Dottie Reynolds of Covington.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and are being handled by Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia.
