James Lockridge Truslow, 85, of Buena Vista, died Friday, July 3, 2009.

He was born December 4, 1923 in Buena Vista, a son of the late Clarence and Viola Noel Truslow.

In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clinton and Lawrence Truslow.

Surviving are his son, Ronald L. Truslow and wife, Gwen, and a sister, Helen Fox, all of Buena Vista; two nephews, William and Dana Truslow; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 7, 2009 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Elder Ronnie Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family suggests that donations be made to Rockbridge Area Hospice. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 at Bolling Grose and Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
