Charles Wayne Davis, 62, of Lexington, died Friday, July 31, 2009.

He was born February 19, 1947 in Lexington, a son of the late Thomas Randolph Davis and Ester Magdeline Vest Davis.

Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Jane Davis; a son, Frederick W. Davis of Staunton; one granddaughter, and one great grandchild; a brother, Thomas M. Davis of Buena Vista; a sister, S. Diane Mayes of Buena Vista.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 on Monday, August 3, 2009 at the Harrison Funeral Home.

The family requests no flowers, but instead for donations to be sent to the Lexington Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 957, Lexington, VA 24450. Arrangements are being handled by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
