Harry Eugene Tucker, Jr., 42, of 5901 Bens Run Road, Covington, Virginia, died Monday, September 7, 2009 at his sister's residence in Low Moor.

He was born May 21, 1967 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Harry "Fudge" Tucker, Sr. and Betty Bogar.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert and Myrtle Tucker; maternal grandparents, Milton and Annie Persinger Switzer; a sister, Bertha "Susie Gail" Tucker and a nephew, Robert Paxton.

Surviving are his step father, Carl Bogar, Sr. of Covington; five sisters: Roger and Cathy Walton of Clifton Forge; Myrtle and Freddy Castillo of Summerville, SC; Janie A. Tucker of Covington; Evelyn and James Thompson of Summerville, SC; and Sally and Raymond Broughman of Low Moor; two step brothers, Randy Bogar and Carl Chubby Bogar, Jr., both of Covington; nieces and nephews: Anthony and Crystal Wright of Selma; Brian and Sabrina Wright of Troutville; Jesse and Carla Bailey of Summerville, SC; Howard and Jessica Dawson of Covington; Richard Paxton of Covington; Carl Tucker of Summerville, SC; Andy Thompson of Hot Springs; Myrtle Thompson of Beaufort, SC; Raymond J. Broughman, Jr. of Low Moor and Bobby and Stacey Broughman of Low Moor; several great nieces and nephews and two special friends, Treva Morris and Padgie Campbell.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2009 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.

The interment will follow in Switzer Ð Tucker Cemetery.

The family received friends Wednesday evening at the Arritt Funeral Home and at other times at his Sally and Raymond Broughman at 2403 Selma - Low Moor Rd., Low Moor, VA.
