Joshua David Eakin, 19, of Fairfield, died Friday, September 11, 2009.

Born April 6, 1990, he was the son of David Winston Eakin, Fairfield and Karen Eakin, Buena Vista, Virginia.

Also surviving is his grandfather, James Eakin of Raphine; grandmother, Joyce Day of Greenville and step grandmother, Jeannie Day.

A private memorial service was held Sunday, September 13, 2009. Donations may be made to Project Horizon, 120 Varner Lane, Lexington, Va. 24450.

The Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia, handled the arrangements.
