Judy Graham Phillips, 56, of 546 E. Prospect Walk, Clifton Forge, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at her residence.

She was born June 10, 1953 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Calvin L. Graham and Ruby Ward Graham of Clifton Forge.

Judy was a member of the United Baptist Church on Ogles Creek.

In addition to her father, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Billy W. Phillips; a son, Ellis Phillips; a sister, Marie O'Conner and a brother-in-law, Charlie OÕConner.

Surviving are two daughters, Evelyn Bratton and her husband, Dale and Cynthia Phillips and Dale Simmons, all of Covington; three sons, Billy Joe Phillips; Matthew Phillips and Calvin Phillips, all of Covington; grandchildren, Kevin Bratton, Joseph Phillips, Emily Phillips, Allison Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Karen Phillips, Kelly Simmons, Savannah Simmons, Lisa Simmons, Jeremiah Phillips and Tabitha Simmons; four sisters, Bonnie Graham of Georgetown, MD; Jennette Poague and her husband, Jimmy and Catherine May, all of Covington; and Dolly Miller and her husband, Freddy of Georgetown, MD; three brothers, Eldridge Graham and his wife, Cora; William Graham and Gary Wayne Graham, all of Covington; special friends, Robert Kimberly; Rodney Holloway; Patty Vail, Matt Garten, Lisa King and Richard Dilley and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gill Gilliland officiating.

The interment will be made in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steven Walton, Lionel Walton, Johnny Reynolds, Jimmy Poague, Dale Bratton and Richard Dilley. Alternates will be Bobbie O'Conner and David Via.
