Obituary for Jerry Lee Patton Jerry Lee Patton
Was Self-Employed HandymanP> Jerry Lee Patton, age 59, of 1506 Farley Place, Clifton Forge and formerly of Ronceverte, WV died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salem.

Born August 9, 1950 in Ronceverte, he was a son of the late Charles Luther Patton, Jr. and Della Keys Patton.

He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War as a rifle sharp shooter.

He was a self-employed handyman.

He is survived by two daughters, Christina Norvell and husband, Steve of Clifton Forge and Marcie Honaker and husband, Paul of White Sulphur Springs, WV; a son, Jeremy Patton of Callaghan; four sisters, Linda Cook and husband, Belford of Austinville, Geneva Stanifer and husband, Jim of Disputania, Mary Freeman and husband, Duane of Max Meadows, and Brenda Hanhart and husband, Mike of Huddleston; three brothers, Phillip Patton and wife, Alice of Hopewell, Charles E. Patton and wife, Martha of Second Creek, WV, and Larry G. Patton and wife, Mary Ruth of Organ Cave, WV; four grandchildren, Gabrielle Norvell, Brandon Honaker, Jacob Honaker, Nya Patton; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Gerald Humphrey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is in charge of arrangements.
