Obituary for Ruben Stewart Foscoe Ruben Stewart Foscoe
Alleghany County Native Worked With Diverse Maintenance

Ruben Stewart Foscoe, 49, of 900 N. Rockbridge Street, Covington, Virginia, died Saturday December 19, 2009 at Alleghany Regional Hospital in Low Moor.

He was born October 14, 1960 in Alleghany County, a son of Edna Johnson Foscoe of Clifton Forge and the late Eibert Foscoe.

Mr. Foscoe was employed with Diverse Maintenance.

He was an avid football fan and this two favorite teams were the Pittsburg Steelers and Virginia Cavaliers.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ashby Foscoe.

Surviving are the love of his life for 25 years, Teresa Ayers of Covington; one son, Greg Entsminger Jr. and his wife, Heather of Clifton Forge; two daughters, Charity Simmons and her husband, Herbert Simmons, Jr. of Covington and Kari Brown of Covington; seven grandchildren, Afton Potter, Kaleigh Entsminger, Eli Entsminger, Ean Entsminger, Casey Simmons, Sierra Brown and Andrew Cole; other family members, his "Mia" Florence Ayers; Emmett Ayers of Vinton; Gary Ayers of Fincastle and Steve Ayers of Clifton Forge.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.

The interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia, is in charge of arrangements.
