Obituary for Carolyn Fieber Morton Carolyn Fieber Morton
Trinity United Methodist Church Member Was Active In Her Community

Carolyn Fieber Morton, 79, of Lexington, VA, died Thursday, January 21, 2010.

Born June 13, 1930 in Albion, IL, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Ada Cowling Fieber.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Morton; and by a son, George Andrew Morton.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Natural Bridge Garden Club, CAN S.H.A.R.E., a supporter of Rockbridge Hunt and was a volunteer with Stonewall Jackson Hospital Auxillary.

Surviving are three daughters, Jane Morton Bynum of Apex, NC, Susan Morton Banks of Mattaponi, VA, and Cynthia J. Morton of Lexington; one grandson.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2010 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Copeland officiating. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Rd., Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018.

Arrangements are being handled by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
