On February 22, 2010, Hilda Bryant Morris, 88, went to join her savior, Jesus Christ.

Hilda died peacefully of natural causes at her residence in The Woodlands, TX, with loved ones at her side.

Since 2005, she had been a resident of the Forum at The Woodlands north of Houston. Prior to her move to Texas, Hilda was a nearly life-long resident of Covington, VA.

Hilda was born May 4, 1921, in Buchanan, VA, to Luella and Moody Pack Bryant.

A memorial service will be held at Loving Funeral Home in Covington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 27, 2010 with Reverends Donna Coffman and Bill Royster officiating. Interment will be at Hoke Chapel Cemetery following the service.

As an alternate to flowers, donations in Hilda's name can be made to the Covington Baptist Church, P.O. Box 687, Covington, VA 24426 or the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 877, Covington, VA 24426.
