Peggy Martin Brown, 52, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Monday, March 15, 2010, at Stonewall Jackson Hospital after fighting a long battle with diabetes.

Born July 4, 1957 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of Thomas A. "Jack" Martin and Josephine Huffman Martin.

She was preceded in death by a son, T.J. Brown.

Peggy was retired from Social Services.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Stacy "Monkey" Brown of Buena Vista.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 at Bolling Grose & Lotts Chapel. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
