Mrs. Virginia Rapp Anderson, age 86, of Kilmarnock, formerly of Covington, Virginia, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010.

Mrs. Anderson was born August 24, 1923 in Covington, the daughter of the late Clyde Gilmore Rapp and Ruby Fertig Rapp.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Fred A. and Susan W. Anderson, of Kilmarnock; two grandsons, Gregory W. Anderson of Amelia and Michael B. Anderson and wife, Linda of Surabaya, Indonesia; a brother, Charles R. Rapp and wife, Niki of Chesapeake; a niece and nephew.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2010, at the Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock, with the Rev. Mary Swann and the Rev. Tom Coye officiating.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Father LeBaron Taylor officiating.
