Obituary for James Ree Breeden James Ree Breeden
Was Digital Imaging Technician At Progress Press

James Ree Breeden, 58, of Forest, formerly of Buena Vista, Virginia, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.

He was born on May 7, 1951 in Lexington, a son of the late Richard Breeden and the late Virginia Fix Breeden.

Ree is survived by his partner and best friend, Jeanie Kessler of Forest; his brother, Sterling Breeden and his wife, Brenda of Charlotte, NC; his sisters, Clelon Berry and her husband, Gates of Lynchburg and Lucinda Abernathy and her husband, Steven of Buena Vista; his sons, Rodney Ireland and his wife, Sally of Orange and Jason Ireland and his wife, Katrina of Australia; his granddaughter, Cassidy Ireland; Jeanie's daughter, Lorie Beneke and her husband, Dale of Forest and Jeanie's grandchildren and great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Billy Breeden.

Ree formerly worked at Progress Printing as a digital imaging technician and was a member of both the Lynchburg and Star City PT Cruiser Clubs and enjoyed photography.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 p.m. on April 23, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, Virginia.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with the Rev. Kathy Nicholls officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2316 Atherholt Road, Lynchburg, VA 24503 or to Easter Seals, 201 E. Main Street, Roanoke, VA 24153.
