Leon Patrick Hunt Jr., of 221 Pocahontas St., Glasgow, Va., departed this life on Friday, July 23, 2010 in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, Va.

He was born March 2, 1972, at Stonewall Jackson Hospital, Lexington, Va., to Brenda Martin Hunt and Leon Patrick Hunt Sr.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Darryl Perry; four aunts, one great-aunt, four uncles; two great-uncles; a godmother, Eloise Moore, godfather, Walter (Paps) Williams; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010, in Union Baptist Church with Dr. Horace Rice Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the church. The family is at the residence.
