Elizabeth M. Barger, 58, of Tybee Island, GA, formerly of Lexington, VA, died Wednesday, September 4, 2010.

Born January 22, 1952 in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late John Woodrow Barger and Martha Straub Barger.

She was a graduate of Lexington High School.

Surviving is her husband, James E. Madden of Ravenel, SC.

All services were private.

Arrangements are being handled by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory Lexington.
