Obituary for Charles Edward Cash Charles Edward Cash
Alleghany County Native Was Former Machine Operator At The Back Creek Project

Charles Edward Cash, 70, of Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 727 N. Greenbrier Ave., Covington.

He was born December 14, 1939 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Solvin C. Cash Sr. and Queenie Clark Cash.

Mr. Cash served with the United States Army.

He was formerly employed as an machine operator at Back Creek Building Project.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Cash, and three sisters, Ann Andrews, Myrtle Hoke and Pauline Brown.

Surviving are two brothers, Solvin Cash and his wife, Debbie of Covington and Bill Cash of PA; a niece, Abagail Cash of Covington; and several other nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A private service will be held at a later date.

Friends may pay their respects at the home of Solvin and Debbie Cash at 727 N. Greenbrier Ave.
