Ann Marie Campbell, 84, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Golden Nursing Home.

Born April 30, 1926 in Rockbridge County.

She was an employee at James Lees Carpets in Glasgow and was a lifetime member of the Buena Vista Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, North D. Pelter and Ethel Bryant Pelter, and her husband, Richard Campbell, and brothers Lewis Pelter, Joe Pelter, and Clinton David Pelter.

Surviving are two brothers, James V. Pelter of Buena Vista; Donald Pelter and wife, Dee of Long Island, New York; one sister, Loretta Whittington and husband, Jack, of Lexington; also several nephews and nieces who were all very special.

Graveside services were conducted 2 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2010 at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Butch Grow and the Rev. David Bain officiating. Family received friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
