Charles Gillie Hostetter, 82, of Fairfield, VA died Saturday October 2, 2010.

Born November 2, 2010 in Jacktown, VA, he was a son of the late Randolph Cleveland Hostetter and Lula Belle Hostetter.

Mr. Hostetter was a lifelong farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Nellie Louise Hostetter; children, Betty Shifflet, Michael Hostetter, Curtis Hostetter, Frances Dittie, Carl Hostetter and step-son, William Hartless; four sisters, Viola Troxell, Mary Reid, Margaret Bryant, and Lucy Hostetter; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and seven great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 in Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dean Staton officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 - 6 p. m. Monday, October 4, 2010 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
